We are seeking a Video Production Intern to join our AI Venture Lab initiative. This role will focus on capturing, producing, and editing high-quality video content across NovaForge’s events, interviews, and media initiatives. This is a hands-on, on-site role requiring presence in Toronto for event coverage and production activities.

About the Placement:

We have a scheduled ongoing placement immediately and an ongoing bi-weekly placement until June. What the Technical Writing team does

Clear, accurate documentation is the connective tissue of a great software platform. The Technical Writing team translates complex product and engineering concepts into accessible content for the utility clients, program operators, customer success teams, and device partners who rely on EnergyHub every day. We own the knowledge base, manage documentation workflows, and set the standards that keep content consistent, findable, and useful.

We work across the product lifecycle: from gathering requirements before a feature ships to publishing and maintaining content long after launch. We use tools like ClickHelp, Confluence, Jira, and an evolving AI-assisted documentation workflow. Good writing and good process go hand in hand here.

About the opportunity

You will work as a full member of the Technical Writing team, not as a sideline contributor. You will own real projects, produce content that ships, and leave behind work that genuinely improves the team’s capabilities. Responsibilities include:

• AI-powered documentation assistant (core project)

Role Description

We’re looking for a Video Content Design Intern to support the creation and maintenance of customer-facing educational videos. In this role, you’ll work closely with content designers, multimedia partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to help update, organize, and publish video tutorials and learning content across Dropbox’s education platforms.

You’ll contribute to projects that keep our video library accurate, easy to navigate, and helpful at scale. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how educational content is planned, produced, reviewed, and maintained for a global audience. You’ll gain experience working within established production workflows while developing your video editing, visual storytelling, and project coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the creation, updating, and publishing of educational video and multimedia content


• Assist with scripting, editing, organizing, and preparing learning assets for multiple platforms and distribution surfaces


• Learn and follow established production workflows, templates, and best practices


• Help maintain and organize a centralized library of customer education content, including updates and review cycles


• Participate in content reviews and incorporate feedback from cross-functional stakeholders


• Support content quality, consistency, and scalability initiatives, including basic audits to identify outdated or duplicate assets


• Assist with tracking content performance and engagement, contributing to insights that inform future improvements

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree or a recent graduate in Multimedia, Communications, Film, Design, Marketing, Education, or a related field completed by Spring 2028


• Interest in content creation, visual storytelling, and digital media


• Basic experience creating video or digital content through coursework, personal projects, or internships


• Familiarity with video or social platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or similar


• Understanding of how titles, thumbnails, and descriptions influence video engagement


• Curiosity about how AI tools or automation can support content creation workflows

Role Overview

The Technical Writer Co-op is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for Magnet Forensics software products. Documentation is targeted towards a forensic investigator audience. As part of the Product Management team, the Technical Writer Co-op will work closely with various internal groups.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with the Product Documentation and Technical Support teams to build knowledge base articles for external and internal audiences
• Perform peer edits and proofreading to make sure documentation and customer-facing communications follow the Magnet Forensics Style Guide and that language is clear, concise, and correct
• Help build out team resources, including wiki pages
